Hey everyone, right now I’m in the ER because this morning out of nowhere I had the worst pain of my entire life. I thought I was gonna pass out. I started to get feverish, sweaty, and nauseous, and then the pain went from normal period cramps to my uterus being on fire in maybe 2 minutes.
We rode to the hospital and on the 30 minute way there my whole body went tingly and numb, and then pain subsided for the most part. While here, they got my urine sample , then an ultrasound both outside and in. When I was wiping before the ultrasound I also had a little brown discharge, but I’m not actively bleeding.
After a while the doctor came back and said they couldn’t see fluid anywhere or anything else wrong so it must’ve been something like a kidney stone. Now, I don’t know exactly where kidney stones come from, but a lot of time I hear it can be from not drinking enough water/ too much soda. All I drink is water! I hardly ever drink soda. I don’t eat incredibly healthy but I also don’t eat incredibly unhealthy either. I’m 21, and I’ve had a ruptured cyst before. I really don’t think it was a kidney stone, but I guess I could be wrong.
Has anyone else had this happen? I’m seeing my gyno ASAP but for now I’m really just baffled.
